Shalom Messianic Parents and Youth,

Greetings in the name of Yeshua the Messiah! This letter is your official invitation to be a part of one of the most remarkable events of the year – Camp Yeshua, the greatest Messianic Youth Summer Camp. The dates for camp will be July 13-18, 2008. This will be the seventh year that Lion and Lamb Ministries has hosted this annual youth camp for ages 14 - 18. We will once again be camping at the beautiful Oakridge Christian Camp in Anadarko, OK. I hope you will consider joining us for this truly one-of-a-kind experience.

One of the primary goals of Camp Yeshua is to provide a fun and safe environment for Messianic youth to congregate with over one hundred other young men and women just like them. The friendships and bonds that are formed at Camp Yeshua will last a lifetime. Our camp is a departure from the secular world as the emphasis of our teaching, activities, and workshops is to glorify Yeshua the Messiah and to promote a Torah-observant lifestyle. Our prayer is that all the Messianic teens out in the world know that they are not alone.

The days of camp are filled with teachings, activities, and workshops as well as plenty of fun, games, and time with friends. Each day is capped off with a full evening program and Starlight Davidic Dance. This year, the youth are in for a real treat as we will have the captivating and dynamic Jimmie Black as our praise and worship leader. We have also tweaked the schedule to allow more free time with friends while maximizing our time with teachings and praise and worship. We will retire some of our classic activities such as designing tribe banners and replace them with new team-building challenges. Those who come to camp this year will witness the rebirth of one of Camp Yeshua’s first and most challenging games ever - the ominous TRIBULATION GAME! You will not want to miss out.

To the youth: I hope to give you a blessing and a message that will shine light on God’s will for your life. I pray that you receive God’s very best blessing and meet many new friends with like-minded beliefs. I look forward to meeting you at Camp Yeshua 2008.

To the Parents: My goal is to reinforce the principles of a Godly and moral lifestyle that you have instilled in your youth. Let’s work together to raise up our young people to be leaders and valued members in our spiritual community. I would also ask that you prayerfully consider joining us at camp as one of our staff members. You can be a blessing and a leader to many other kids as well as your own. Please join us in praying for Camp Yeshua and for the many youth in the Messianic Movement who are looking for guidance in their lives. I would like to encourage you and your youth to be a part of this life-changing event!

Come prepared to have fun, make new friends, learn, be challenged, and receive a blessing. I look forward to seeing you there!
