Yavoh Letter (May 28, 2003) / June 2003

Dear Brethren,

This is the June 2003 issue of Yavoh He is coming. Let me explain.

We are committed to the greater Messianic movement that the Lord is doing by His Spirit. As a result, we made a decision to use all of our available resources to accomplish some specific things this summer instead of publishing a June issue. For several months we have been meeting with other Messianic Ministries to develop unity among all of our brethren. At the end of May, we are supporting the Central Plains Messianic Conference. At the beginning of July, we are supporting the second annual national Messianic Youth Camp at Camp Yeshua. All of these activities have required an investment on our part. It came down to a simple decision. Do we use the ministry resources to help others or take care of our own interests? We chose to help others; the Lord can take care of us! The Lord has sustained us many times.

As a consequence, this is your June newsletter. But, I have some really good news for you, the loyal readers of Yavoh He is coming. The July issue is already written and will be published as soon as we have the funds. Actually, this will be a new precedent for us. (Not that we missed a month!) You may actually receive a monthly issue (July) at the first part of the month (July) instead of at the end of the month! By the way, the July article is entitled "Marriage: What our parents did and did not teach us…" It addresses 10 Biblical principles of marriage and explains what our fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob taught us about marriage. I sincerely hope the article will stimulate thought and discussion between spouses and result in encouragement and blessings.

While I have you for a few moments, I do have a favor to ask. Could you pray for the new fellowships and congregations in the Messianic Movement? It is clear to me that the Spirit of God is moving among many communities and that God is gathering His people from the nations. Please pray that they will be encouraged to seek the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; to turn to "His teaching"; and to trust in Messiah Yeshua, the Great Shepherd who is gathering us all. Please pray for those who continue to labor faithfully that they may be strengthened.
