Prayer

My uncle, Dale Metz (age 59), had a stroke on 25 Dec. 2011, and is currently in rehab at the Sulphur Veterans Hospital in Sulphur, OK. Prayers for his continued recovery are appreciated. He is currently able to use a walker to get around, but his main issue is his speech. Some words are understandable but most comes out very slurred and unintelligible. He has requested that we put him on the Lion Lamb prayer list specifically, as he knows this will reach thousands of prayer warriors around the world and also he once attended a service with my family and me and is very interested in the Messianic movement. I am working on getting a mailing address for get-well cards. Thanks for any and all prayers!

My husband had a massive stroke in November. He is in a rehab facility now but will be coming home soon. I work full time but will have to quit my job so I can take care of him full time. Please pray for favor in applying for benefits since we are losing most of our income. I also need to sell his pickup truck and need a buyer soon.

Please pray for Chris. He has been having seizures with increasing intensity lately. We ask God, if it be His will, that the seizures would stop and that there won't be a third recurrence of brain cancer. We ask for peace and comfort.

A few days age Allen Stanfield the founder of Old Paths Assembly had a stroke. He is doing well, we were told it was in a residual area of the brain so he has not anything. He did have weakness of the left leg, and has since regained strength there. They are doing numerous tests on Allen to make sure everything is okay. He is still in the hospital as I post this. He so wants to be out today to come to service.

Also I request prayer for myself as I am going to be having arthroscopic knee surgery on the 13th. The mri showed a slight tear to the meniscus, the cartilage between the bones is bad, and there is about a half an inch of cartilage that broke off and is floating around causing a lot of pain.

Many thanks to all of you for your prayers in regards to my son Todd's custody trial for his children. The trial was continued twice and ended on December 16. Todd was given sole custody of the kids! With no court ordered counsellings or any more court involvement. Praise YHWH. The mother did not even show up in court on the 16th. She overslept.
Thank you again for your prayers as this was a bitter battle.
