TITHING - How is it done today

Shalom to everybody!

I have read a lot of articles, books etc regarding our messianic faith, but I have not come across anything that discusses tithing in our day.

This is particularly important to me because I would like to offer my tithes but I am not sure when, where and how. I have tried to make a sturdy regarding this but am not sure of my conclusions.

Please help my brothers.

Walking with YHWH as Enoch did.

Shalom Brothers and Sisters, my name is Muzza.

I am on a quest to find someone or even better, a group of those, who YHWH has blessed with the true hunger and thirst for His righteousness. I'm speaking about a passion that goes beyond comprehension, to seek Him out and prepare for the tribulation we can all see coming lon the horizon.

When I find these people who are just like me, I want us to sit down and sharpen our weapons together, because we are going to need them soon.

5 years ago YHWH gave me 3 small children, one after the other. I never asked for them, in fact, knowing what I know and believing what I believe, having children was out of the question for me, but He obviously decided different. If by His grace He does find me acceptable in His sight, maybe I can safely deliver these 3 precious souls and whoever else He gives me to shepherd to the other side of the tribulation with not one hair on their head touched by violence.

To achieve this, will require me to remain a student of a powerful supernatural faith that only He can supply me with. If He does in fact find me diligent and worthy of such, time will tell I'm sure. He has woken me every morning without fail somewhere between 3am and 5am for almost 2 years now to get down on my knees and speak with Him with my first prayer of the day.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the difference between Surviving this coming war and not surviving comes down to us either walking with Him or not walking with Him.

Turn of the year

If anyone knows, where is the scripture and verse for the Turn of the Year being Tishri 1. I am not interested in opinion or tradition, but I would like to know where in the Bible I can find it, and I will be satisfied.

Who will enter the Promised land?

This weeks torah portion....BO...Exodus story

Only two from the Exodus enter the promised land.
What exactly does this mean?
I am serious

If this exodus story reveals to us a picture of redemption, salvation and receiving the promised land aka eternal life. Then am I to understand that out of all the thousands of people led through the wilderness including Moses, only two made it?
Will we not see Moses in the kingdom as a great child of God?
What about Aaron or Moses' wife? All cast away?

Does anyone have an explanation?
Is the road really that narrow?
Or am I taking this analogy to far?

Caleb (I know I use the username Caleb. Ironic....someone called me this once in prayer....?!?!?)

fivefold ministry

What is the Messianic consensus on the fivefold ministry and how is it displayed in our congregations? My husband is hesitant to wholeheartedly commit to being Messianic because he doesn't see the fivefold ministry in it and of course he is reluctant to keep kosher because he grew up in a home where supper was basically whatever could be caught/shot/trapped and also with strictly Pentecostal Church of God beliefs (replacement theology, kosher is just a Jewish thing, etc), which he never questioned, whereas I questioned EVERYTHING in my traditional Lutheran upbringing and only attended confirmation classes to please my parents and to hang out with the cute boys in my class. He views Monte as a respected authority on everything else Biblical though (Appointed Times, Shabbat, end time prophecy, etc), so hopefully some info on the way the fivefold ministry is carried out in a Messianic congregation will help draw him further in, as he is more reluctant about that than about kosher (he has seen health benefits to avoiding pork and catfish/shellfish). Blessings in the Name of Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, Lora

The Flood, global or local

I missed Monty's teaching on this as I am new to this site. What is the Messianic view and the support for it.

keeping feasts & high sabbaths

Shalom,
could you please help me with whether i fall into the special concession according to tora.
I have my own business as a schools meal provider, the last thing I want to do is to walk outside of tora, therby grieving the Father ,it has come up in conversation that I would have to close for the special days, but it was put to me that the service that I provide is pertaining to life but I really am not sure.

Blessings, Shalom, Lynn

The Elders and their Nazerite vow in Acts

Hallo to every1 here at LionLamb Forum

I am new at this Forum/website and were handed a set of Mp3's of Monte Juda on/in which he discusses the Nazerite Law that Shaul/Paul "attended" in Acts.

Is there any person here who would/could describe/teach me what actually transpired there in Acts with Paul and his 4 bretheren who were "forced" by all the Elders to take this Nazerite vow ?

Basically I am asking what a "Nazerite vow" is.

Thanks Kindly

Robert/Rob.

Heaven Is For Real

The book by Todd Burpo. The book is a sensational hit, but I read it today, and it is very troubling to me. Have you read it? What opinions do YOU have about it? I am withholding mine right now, as I do not want to influence the discussion...
